Welcome
Thank you for enrolling in the Anesthesia BLS, ACLS, & PALS course. 99% of your questions will be answered if you read the following.
What to bring to class
There are 3 items that you will need to complete prior to class. Please allow 2-3 hours to complete all assignments prior to class. You will need to score 70% or higher on each assessment. Please plan ahead, as you will NOT be able to attend class without the 3 completed certificates. If you can not print your certificate, please take a snapshot which includes your name and score/certificate number. If name and score is not visible your will packet will be denied by the training center. Please either bring your certificates to class or email PDF to anesthesia_cpr@duke.edu.

Class will begin at 7:30am. Please bring a pen and your snack as we will continue to work through without stopping for lunch. Please use this link to view documents that will be helpful in class.
BLS Online Test
Approximately 2 weeks before your class date, you will receive a key code from your instructor. Please follow the link and click the "Activate Course" button. You will be asked to sign in with your AHA username and password. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one before gaining access to your course.
Once your key is activated, simply log into your account to access the course from any computer with an Internet connection. The course will remain accessible for 24 months from the date of activation. The program will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Please activate your course as soon as possible so we have time to troubleshoot any issues. BLS online does not work well with the ipad.
Quick Tip
In order to print your BLS certificate you MUST first review the course. Your final certificate should look like this.

To complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment, please use this tutorial below and follow the instructions. Since the 2020 update, there is no longer a code to access the pretest. You will need 70% or better. Don't forget to print your certificate.
